Do you want to go to a fitness boot camp retreat day with a sexy friend? Of course you do.
You are not going to believe it but I have another sexy prize up for grabs. And it’s a good one.
I am going to assume that, if you read my blog, you’re pretty keen on fitness (or would like to be!). Therefore you’re probably a bit odd like me and can’t think of anything better than spending an entire day working out. Imagine - kettlebells followed by yoga followed by circuits followed by HIIT - all mixed up with some yummy health food and topped off with a delicious stretching session. Then, you’d get a personalised exercise and nutrition plan to take home with you so you can carry on kicking everyone’s butt even after you’ve left fitness paradise.
Well babes, this dream can become a reality, because this is the prize you can win right here on my blog! I’ve got a voucher for two people to attend a full day’s Fitness Bootcamp at Hillmott’s Retreat, a 2,000 acre country estate in Buckinghamshire that offers fitness retreats, fitness bootcamps and a countryside spa retreat, which includes the creation of an exercise and nutrition plan just for you. The voucher can be booked whenever you like so you can take it when you’ve got a spare non-race weekend (Autumn is busy) and you can take whoever you please. Sexy friend or non-sexy friend, if you’d prefer to be the sexier of the pair.
To win, leave me a comment on this post telling me who is your ideal fitness bootcamp date? Would you want a best friend to support you through the pain? Your training buddy to motivate you to push through? Or someone famous who you think would make a good bootcamp buddy?
Personally I’d have to go for Dame Kelly Holmes. I attended one of her fitness workshops last year and she is very funny, super friendly, highly motivated and a total machine, which I think is pretty much the perfect recipe for a bootcamp companion.
Good luck!!
This prize is sponsored by Ladbrokes Poker as part of their August Poker Endurance Challenge!

Hey! this sounds like a DREAM day! My dream date would take my best friend as she is my absolute rock! Is there for me no matter what and I couldn’t be with out her! She is super fit, healthy and working out together is 10x less painful because it always turns out to be super fun!
Wow sounds like a fab prize! I would love to try a Bootcamp. My dream partner would definitely be my sister, she the most motivating person I have met, she is the person who got me into the healthy living and fitness in the first place. She has taken me on many a run and been soo patient with me as I struggled through the first few miles, eventually training me to complete the Bristol 10K, a dream I never thought would be possible a couple of years ago. And of course being healthy sisters we are both pretty sexy too
I’d take my mum!
She was the one who originally got me into sport, getting up at the crack of dawn & standing in the rain & wind to cheer me on during a cross country! Even now she’s the one who pushes me to enter more races & go that little bit faster & further!
It’d be the perfect way to say ‘thank you’
This is the best prize EVER! My dream date would be my boyfriend because he’s the only one who supported my decision to start losing weight, motivates me during all my workouts, puts up at running at my super slow pace, always tells me I’m doing well no matter how badly I’m actually doing and always gives me a big hug afterwards even when I’m bright red and sweating like a pig!
This is such an AMAZING giveaway! Honestly the best one I’ve seen. I’d take on of my awesome runner girlfriends as we always motivate and challenge one another and have endless laughs whilst doing it . So far we have completed countless races, happily volunteer our evenings off to run up hills together and had our own mini ‘running break’ at one of their parent’s farms, this break would be the icing on the cake!
Although it would be utterly humbling to work out next to her, I’d take Chrissie Wellington. I find it awe inspiring that she worked in an office job until five months before her world champion winning iron man race… makes me feel that I could be five months away from just about anything! Plus she seems like great fun and would have some amazing stories to keep you distracted during difficult training.
AWESOME prize!!! I would have to take my little sister because she is pretty darn fantastic and I know she would make me laugh the entire time. Love her!
How can I pick just one of my sexy fitness friends to bring? I have too many! My dream training partner would be Tirunesh Dibaba, if I could keep up with her I’m sure I’d learn a LOT about running and kicking butt on the race track. Thanks Soph!
What a fantastic prize! I would love to go with the boyfriend for moral support. He’s so patient and supportive of me.
My dream bootcamp date would be one of my fitness friends on Twitter. Without their support I wouldn’t have lost 55lbs so far, and feel confident about losing the rest of the weight I have got to go till my goal. Their encouragement has helped me stay strong when faced with challenges and keep my focus on getting fit and healthy. I feel better than I have in years and know this bootcamp would power me through this final stage of my fitness journey!
Oooo what a lovely prize! My dream bootcamp date would be Jillian Michaels, she is one tough lady but I also imagine she would be amazing to talk to when we had some downtime (which is probably not often)…I would love to spend a day with her In reality I’d probably take my friend Sam, she’s the one that made me enjoy running
I would bring Emelie Forsberg along. She’s such a runner babe and always looks so happy and content even during the most gruelling runs. That’s how I imagine myself to look- or at least that’s how I feel on the inside. In reality I’m usually a sweaty, red mess. If I could channel some of her energy at the retreat I’d be one happy lady.
I would take my sister along. Whilst I love running, she can’t do it with a bad knee injury, so it’d be awesome for us to spend a day of fitness together that we can both enjoy- she keeps me laughing and we motivate each other!
Omg i would LOVE this so much! I would have to take one of my extra special trio of tri club friends who have been a constant source of motivation, inspiration, support, competition and fun over the last few months. They have shared my tears of joy as well as some devastation during my first tri season and would be awesome to take on this fab day with. Famous wise i would also take Chrissi Wellington not only for her amazingness and athletic ability but for her inspiration, openness amd honesty about overcoming an eating disorder through sport and the message this gives to women (and boys) about how we all deserve to respect our bodies for the amazing things we can achieve when we treat it properly. Definitely one of my heroes! Plus i want to do an iron man in 2015 so would want to quiz her!
Wow what an amazing prize! Personally, I’d put it out there and pass it forward - and take one of my super sexy blog readers - because I’m inspired and touched by them every single damn day. And nothing solidifies a friendship more than sweating together right?!
If I could I would take my dog, she is my running partner in crime and would love to run around those fields looking for squirrels! Unfortunately I don’t think she would be very good for doing push ups or squats so I would love to take my boyfriend as he is the one who got me into fitness as well as teaching me the basics.
Am I a cliche if I say arnie? He’s the man! Imagine working out with the Schwartz. He’s got the knowledge; the charm; and I bet he’s got a few good stories to motivate me with. Seriously!!
What an awesome prize!!!
I would love to train with Rebecca Adlinghton, she seems so much fun but also when it’s time to get down to busses she is all over it!
This weekend would be a dream!!
Justine
Perfect prize!! I’d take my mate Christina who not only is a total fitness badass, lifting like a champ and taking on every challenge put in front of her, but also the most positive person I’ve met - seeing the upside in everything and super generous with her time and energy. It’s impossible to be demotivated around her, and she inspires me every day, but mostly when she’s shouting at me to climb the goddamn wall and stop faffing about on the ropes!
Isn’t it crazy that this sounds better than a beach holiday to me?! I would love to train with Jessie Pavelka. Just watching Fat: The Fight Of My Life motivates me to workout, to try new things and to push myself - I can’t imagine how motivating he would be in the flesh! Failing that, I would love to take one of my closest girlfriends to show them how much fun fitness can be and that sweating can feel sexy!! Fingers crossed for fitness paradise!
Natalie xoxo
Kate Middleton. Imagine.
I’d take my friend Lyns who I don’t see as much as I’d like. We’d have a ball and motivate each other along the way
What a treat! I’d 100% take my mum along- she inspires me fitness wise every single day. She has turned her life around in the last 18 months from a very overweight sedentary women nearing 50, to someone who is now training for the Chicago Marathon in October. Her drive and determination are awe-inspiriing and I respect her so much. We celebrated the bank holiday weekend with a 15 mile run together in the Gloucestershire countryside. Epic stuff.
Hmm, tough one, either my Mum as she’s really got into fitness recently and is doing a lot of cycle training, so cute! Or I’d take Ryan Gosling to get hot and sweaty with…mmm
Wow! This is an amazing prize! I would take my best mate Vicki with me who has recently really gotten the fitness bug after an initial aim to lose some weight for her wedding in just over a year’s time. She’s a teacher, like me and has spent her Summer off swimming, walking, playing tennis and at the gym. I’m hoping she’s going to make a Parkrun with me by the end of September! She has always made me laugh and been there for me over the past ten years. I would love to share a prize like this with her to reward her for all her recent hard work!
Oh wow!!! Great giveaway!
I would do my best to encourage my husband to come with me. This year he competed in a triathlon and 5 mile run just to spend time with me!!! He claims that he’s retired from all things active but I’m sure there’s something in him that, when pushed, would really start to love the madness!
Wow this sounds amazing!! If I could choose anyone it’d have to be Jessica Ennis! I think she’s fab, and it would be amazing to work out with someone on that level! Failing that, it’d have to be my boyfriend who’s massively into fitness and would be très jealous if I didn’t take him he’s also my rock and supports me at everything x
My dream date would be my fitness bestie Charlotte. We met at post run club pub going and we’ve been training, writing about training and getting in the post race g&ts in together ever since. There’s no one else I’d rather bring.
I’d bring my friend Maria. We were living together for about a year and she was my training buddy, she is now married and moved to Bristol and I’d love to spend a day training with her again. We had our little competitions between ourselves and motivated each other a lot!
Me ideal bootcamp date would be my boyfriend. Not only has he been my number one cheerleader from the start he’s also helped me realise what I’m capable of achieving. He helped me run through my first mile and he was there when I finished my first ever half marathon. Also a bit of competition never hurt any relationship. If he wasn’t available I’d probably ask Channing Tatum
I would love to enjoy this with my sister and best friend, Lucy! We both love a good workout and have entirely different goals and figures making it interesting training together and comparing notes as well as helping each other progress! Would be a lovely break away with her having quality time doing what we love
Amazing prize!! I would love to win & would take my husband along with me. He’s encouraged me to take up running & supported me every step on the way. He also inspires me as he’s about to take on his second marathon even though he only began running regularly a year ago. This prize would be a fab opportunity to work out together!
Ryan Gosling - seriously any more motivation needed?! If, for some bizarre reason, he isn’t available then I’d settle for James Franco to keep me company. Sounds like a tough bootcamp hey? No but in all seriousness, this sounds awesome xxx
What an amazing prize! I’d take Ryan Gosling, please, so that he could read Hey Girl memes out during the hard bits (laughter = extra ab work, no?). Yum.
I would take my friend Becca (@jbeccx) we spent many years drinking, smoking and eating, we are both so different now, would be fun to spend time with her doing a bootcamp……we do still enjoy cocktails.
