Work It: Core Strength

Thought I’d share my current favourite core move with you because it’s AWESOME. I present to you…


This move is great because, although focused on your core, it works your entire body. Core, arms, legs; the lot.

I use an 7kg medicine ball at the moment and do 3 sets of 15. A medicine ball with handles works best but isn’t a necessity (You could also use a kettlebell).

PS. My arms are pretty short and don’t reach my feet when I ‘v-up’ as is shown in the video. Do I curse my T-Rex arms? NO! I use my core to ‘push up’ the medicine ball to reach my toes, which adds an extra dimension to the exercise.
