I have been lucky enough to get a sneak peak of the SS15 collection from Sweaty Betty and it is all kinds of awesome! I am always a fan of Sweaty Betty’s designs but there are some really lovely pieces coming up that I think are unique in the sportswear market – really chic. A lot of sports brands at the moment seem to be using lots of seriously bright colours and patterns, but SB’s new collection feels a bit muted and much more grown up. On the whole, it’s all pretty stylish.
The new collection is inspired by nature, and you can see the influence of wings and leaves throughout the designs. I also got a peek at the new collaboration with Richard Nicoll, which is gorgeous. I loved all the reflective silver details and the feminine prints.
Here are some of my favourite pieces…
Double layer running jacket. Lightweight waterproof outer layer, with a nature inspired print and awesome reflective ribbon details on the sleeves, and a warm layer underneath. Jackets can be worn separately or layered together!
‘Breathe’ tank. Sweat wicking but not technical fabric – great for yoga or for layering post yoga to meet friends for brunch or run errands. Super cute, so also suitable for non-workout related tasks.
Beautiful premium running jacket, crafted from technical fabric and embellished with strip of reflective 3M. I love the funnel neck.
…and with flash!
And these little beauties from the Richard Nicoll collection. Love the pleats and the wide waistband! Edged with reflective tape and super soft bonded seams. Love them.
